  • I live in Michigan, so I do follow the Lions (now that Millen is gone), but grew up in another city with an NFL team. Having the Lions play on Thanksgiving is traditional.

  • Either one "gets" Monty Python, or one doesn't. Python was able to take the English language and twist it into something completely different. Because Python did not resort to imitations and current events (like SNL), their sketches are just as funny and relevant today as when they first aired.
